For our latest collection, we took our signature sun-baked print, S A F A R // Lost in the tropical stillness, off the gallery walls and transformed it directly into a textile. This isn't a digital graphic slapped onto fabric; it is a living, breathing artwork engineered onto cloth.

Here is how this unique piece traveled from the darkroom to your wardrobe.

The Chronology of a Wearable Art (Cyanotype Printing Process)

Adapting a traditional 19th-century photographic process to fabric requires a precise, multi-day timeline where nature dictates the schedule.

1) Textile Preparation:-  The journey begins away from the light. We carefully select premium, raw natural fibers.

2) The Hand-Coating:- This emulsion is meticulously hand-brushed or submerged onto the textile. We ensure the solution saturates deep into the core of the fibers, rather than just sitting on the surface.

3) The Dark Cure:- The wet, neon-green fabric is then left to dry completely in total darkness. At this stage, the garment is highly volatile and hyper-sensitive to any stray beam of light.

4) Chasing Peak UV:- Timing is everything. We monitor the UV index and head outside during peak midday sun.

5) The Reaction:- The fabric is exposed to raw, natural UV rays for a calculated window of minutes. You can physically watch the transformation happen in real-time: the exposed, bare sections of the cloth turn from a dull bronze-green to a dark, metallic blue-grey as the solar energy alters the iron compounds at a molecular level.

6) The Chemical Wash:- The textile undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage water development bath. Water washes away any unexposed, residual iron salts from the areas masked by the negative.

7) Oxidation:- As the water hits the fabric, a beautiful chemical oxidation occurs. The remaining bound chemicals instantly mature into the rich, permanent, signature Prussian Blue.

8) Organic Drying:- Finally, the garments are hung to dry organically. As the fabric cures in the air, the blue tones deepen further, permanently locking the artwork into the very DNA of the threads. It will never crack, peel, or wash out.

The architectural fronds of the fanpalm drape boldly across the garment. It acts as a visual summary of a sun-drenched, tropical climate. The deep shadows and sharp silhouettes of the palm leaves bring a heavy, slow-living summer mood into the design, letting you carry the stillness of a coastal afternoon wherever you go.

The Man on the Yacht: Art in Motion

As the fabric moves, ripples, and flows with your stride, so does the solitary man drifting on his yacht. The contrast between the grounded palm leaves and the fluid motion of the surfer perfectly embodies the spirit of a wanderer.
